About the Model

This is a Limited Edition 1/400 diecast scale model C-130 by GeminiMacs. It features the colors of the Taiwanese Air Force. Only 1,000 of these models were produced worldwide. Outside of paying rediculous prices for the model on EBay, this model is rarely seen in the US. The graphics are lasered on the model with the utmost care for accurate details. Each model features realistic landing gear and precise paint scheme with detailed markings and control surfaces. Display stands for the models are sold separately.

About the Lockheed C-130 Hercules

The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a four-engine turboprop cargo aircraft and the main tactical airlifter for many military forces worldwide. Over 40 models and variants of the Hercules serve with more than 50 nations. This particular HC-130 is an "H" model.

Capable of short takeoffs and landings from unprepared runways, the C-130 was originally designed as a troop, medical evacuation and cargo transport aircraft. The versatile airframe has found uses in a variety of other roles, including as a gunship, and for airborne assault, search and rescue, scientific research support, weather reconnaissance, aerial refuelling and aerial firefighting. The Hercules family has the longest continuous production run of any military aircraft in history. During more than 50 years of service the family has participated in military, civilian and humanitarian aid operations.

GeminiMacs are a line of pre-made high quality diecast aircraft models that are 1/400 scale of the actual aircraft. The model size varies in size depending on the aircraft. Most aircraft are about the size of a coffee cup allowing collectors to have a large fleet displayed in a relatively small space like a desk or shelf. Every model is made using high quality diecast metal construction with extremely detailed paint schemes and landing gear. GeminiMacs are produced in limited quantities and are highly collectable. Total production runs for each model is between 1,000 and 2,000 pieces. Once they are sold out, the specific model is never produced again.
