The GeminiMacs Boeing C-32 1/400th scale model is based on the actual C-32 with winglets flown by the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland.
About the 89th Airlift Wing
The 89th Airlift Wing, based near the Washington DC area, provides global Special Air Mission (SAM) airlift, logistics, aerial port and communications for the President, Vice President, Combat Commanders, senior leaders and the global mobility system as tasked by the White House, Chief of Staff of the Air Force and Air Mobility Command. The 89th Airlift Wing maintains 24/7 alert, operating the Executive Airlift Training Center and Government Network Operation Center. C-12, C-21, C-40B, C-40C, C-37, C-38, VC-25, C-130, EA-6B, F-16 and UC-35s are all based at the base. Nearly all mobility aircraft transit the base. In addition, most foreign aircraft on official visits land at Andrews AFB.
